Seocho District will participate in the '2024 Global Talent Fair' at COEX in Seoul from the 27th for two days, actively supporting youth in their overseas employment endeavors.
This fair is a large-scale recruitment event for young people seeking overseas employment and job seekers interested in foreign investment companies. It is hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of Employment and Labor, with Seocho District, KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency), the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, and Seoul City as the organizers.
Seocho District will offer various employment support services for young people at this event, assisting them in their overseas ventures.
The event will feature zones including a Global Job Overseas Employment Section, a Foreign Investment Company Recruitment Section, and a Foreign Student Recruitment Section. Domestic youth will have the opportunity to explore various overseas job opportunities and employment options with foreign investment companies. Foreign students can gain information about domestic employment, with approximately 400 companies participating to offer diverse job opportunities.
Seocho District will operate customized employment support programs at its booth, including 1:1 English/Japanese interview consulting, interview makeup, personal color diagnosis, and AI mock interviews. Additionally, various youth support programs and policies will be introduced at Seocho District's youth policy promotion booth.
Seocho District has strengthened its foundation for supporting youth overseas employment through a business agreement with KOTRA and the Human Resources Development Service of Korea last year. The district is now leveraging a broader network to accelerate the development of youth talent.
Seocho District Mayor Jeong Seong-su stated, "In the global era, I hope that young people wishing to work in overseas and global companies will gain the opportunity to expand their horizons through this fair."
